Dear friends,

                         Thanks for the overwhelming, enthusiastic response and participation. I desire to conduct many such events in future. I’m sure that you will always participate in large numbers and make the events as successful as this one.

                                               

                         All the children learned to share, enjoy, spend time fruitfully and be creative; which is the essence of such competitions. As is the norm, some will win and some won’t. But each participant is a winner because he/she made the attempt to be as creative as possible.

                         As is rightly said, “Try and try again till you succeed”. So friends, those who have won prizes, hearty congrats to you! Keep it up! The remaining participants also win token gifts as an appreciation of their sincere efforts.

                        
                        The competition’s entries were judged by my husband, Ramesh Swaminathan and my self. We were very impressed by the children’s creativity as it was an ‘On the spot’ drawing competition. We found it extremely difficult to choose the best ones from among all the beautiful drawings. But we eventually zeroed in on the winners. 

                     
                     The groups and topics were as follows:

Group A: 5 to 7 years, Topics: Tree, House, Boat

Group B: 8 to 10 years, Topics: Bag, Train, Basket of fruits

Group C: 11 to 13 years, Topics: Waterfall, School, Car

                       
                     The names of the winners are as follows:
Group A: First prize - Devraj More
                 Second Prize - Payal Rathod
                Third Prize - Kedar Kale

Group B: First prize - Sagar Khandare
                Second Prize - Savita Kale
                Third Prize -Ajay Yadav

Group C: First prize - Laxmi Pawar
                Second Prize - Uttam Kale
                Third Prize - Nagesh Kale
