The Trophy Wife is now a Damocles' Sword for the plagiarists and their abettors!

 


Today, after many months, I saw the Best Sellers' Ranking for The Trophy Wife e-book, which had been earlier deleted by Amazon.in from its website.

Amazingly, my paperback of this book is not visible at all! Has Amazon become the great magician Houdini, changing dates and particulars of self-published books, at will? 

NOT DONE, AMAZON! Please up your game and play fair with all of us who trust you with our original and painstakingly created work in the form of our dear books, for publication.

Even Amazon.com now thankfully shows the correct dates of publication of my e-book as well as paperback.

Undoubtedly, the Damocles' Sword of a Lawsuit made Amazon do the needful. But there are lots of other data too, which have been tampered with!

And anyway, this action of Amazon only proves that it had deleted the above-mentioned stats in the first place. Just reinstating them, doesn't make it any less of an accomplice!

My book's sales have been affected by all this tampering. So that is one more point to be considered by the Hon'ble Court.

Besides, after seeing the movie which has been plagiarized fully from my book, who will be interested in reading my book? Only genuine book lovers and those who want to see the extent of plagiarism for themselves! By the way, my book is way better than the film. So kindly purchase it for just $0.99 and read it today.           He winked at her. She was looking delectable, in a mauve satin gown with a matching floor-length overcoat. Her prized purchase of that evening’s frenzied shopping spree. She had chosen lovely clothes and accessories for herself, and yes, make up and perfume too! He had drawn the line when she had wanted to purchase a horribly expensive pair of shoes for him. “I already own 20 pairs, thank you!” he had said firmly.

          Had he opted inadvertently for a ‘high-maintenance’ wife? He would keep his fingers tightly crossed! And a tighter tab on his credit card!
          
          Now, he looked divine in his sky-blue, silk pajama suit. Tanned muscles rippled against the soft fabric. The dropped collar of his top was opened tantalizingly to reveal curly, dark hair covering a heaving chest. She could feel the sensual vibrations bouncing off her, as if both of them stood in between an intensely charged magnetic field.
          
          He suddenly pulled her into his embrace and soundly kissed her, as she drawled softly, “Now be a good boy, darling and hop on to that couch, before all hell breaks loose!”
          
          “Hell or Heaven?” he asked with an amused smirk, his eyes devouring her sinuous curves; and his hands, on the small of her back.         
          
          “Well, we can decide on that later!” she said coquettishly. Both of them laughed heartily.

Do read my earlier posts to learn how Amazon has betrayed my Utmost Good Faith in it, as my publisher since long, to favor the unscrupulous proposed Defendants in my proposed lawsuit for Willful Copyright Infringement.


Amazon has also profited handsomely, as the movie TBMAUJ which was made by blatantly plagiarizing my book, has been available for viewing on its Amazon Prime Video Channel; since 5th April, 2024.


So the only loser is the author of the original book, that is myself!

 I've been royally cheated of all my credit, dues, royalty and glory! 

The plagiarists have made profits of over Rs. 250 crores at my expense!


Needless to say, the law will soon take its course!

I will also soon get a chance to celebrate the victory of my honesty, talent, persistence, perseverance and hard-work over the unscrupulous, selfish, greedy and remorseless proposed Defendants in my proposed Lawsuit.
