Happy Maha Shivratri!

      Today is Maha Shivratri. A day of fasting and celebration. Devotees fervently pray to the Lord Mahadeva for granting all their wishes.

      While doing so, we mustn't forget to be just, honest and pious in our day to day lives! Just praying for a day will not make us holy nor will the Lord be inclined to grant our wishes. Let us remember Him and meditate even while going about our chores; and in grief as well as in happiness.

      Let us do our best, work hard and sincerely, help the downtrodden and the underprivileged and lead simple, contented lives. Then surely, even if we don't pray, God will grant our wishes manifold!

     OM NAMAHA SHIVAYA!
