EXCERPT
As all the girls in his class turned towards
him like sun-flowers towards the sun, he walked into his class-room, oblivious
and blissfully whistling, “I love you” even as the Professor standing there
admonished him, “Stop right where you are Preet! How dare you casually walk
into my class, whistling like that! You are late. Please get out.” Preet
stopped in his tracks as he realized his faux pas. Instantly he apologized and
turned to go.
He
was stunned when Professor Mhatre told him, “O.K. Preet. Apology accepted. Take
your seat.” He cheerfully said “Thank you sir. Sorry once again!” and took his seat
in the last row. As he was tall, he had to sit in the last row. He was
Professor Mhatre’s favorite student, hence the Professor had relented.
