Hope

I hope that I am always hopeful        

I hope that I’ll always be helpful

To the needy and the deserving

I hope that I’ll always be loving

Towards even those unworthy of it

For maybe that’s how God wanted it

‘Cause maybe that’s how I want it to be

I hope I will always be what I want to be

And not what others want me to be!
