Environment Day

Aren’t we pleased to live on Mother Earth?
But will she be around to give more birth?
At the rate at which she’s stripped of her green cover
The melting glaciers will make her go down under!
She’s taken millions of years to form – layer upon layer
But never before has she faced such acute danger!
All her children face starvation, extinction
Mother Earth will surely not get another extension!
Let’s, this day, pledge to save her honor
We’ll also be doing mankind a big favor!
