I hide the hideous, conceal the beauteous,
Offer privacy, protect conspiracy.
Draw the veil over uncomfortable truths
Draw the line for voyeurs
Provide peek-a-boo for the curious
Extend a camouflage for the nefarious
Don’t show anything that’s spurious!
I caution, I tantalize
I reveal, I hide
I’m only a humble curtain
But none can do without me,
About that I am certain!
