Furniture

We hold hidden secrets
When opened after a long time
Skeletons tumble out – CLOSETS
      We groan with our burden
      Sometimes give way to pressure
We need good support – CHAIRS
We are very useful
We bear food, cutlery, flowers, etc.
We need a good scrub/polish – TABLES
We provide a good night’s sleep
Rest and relaxation to the weary
We blush at the naughty – BEDS
We are over-stuffed/over-worked
Seldom free from the couch potatoes
We threaten to go on a strike
If we are called the ‘casting couches’! – SOFAS/COUCHES
